Applications · Across the mill house

One product family. Every bearing in the mill.

Mill Journal bearings, rotary equipment, Boiler Travel gate bearing, food-adjacent contact points. Each application gets a specific LAAPSA family member – engineered for that physics, not pulled from a generalist warehouse.

    Application 01 · Journal bearings · 5 RPM

The lubricant is doing what greases were never designed
to do.

Sugar mill top bearings are subjected to severe hydraulic loads of around 1,000 tons (to be confirmed) at low RPM. Because of this high load, the base oil viscosity of grease, which is as low as 2,500–3,000 cSt at atmospheric temperature, becomes insufficient to maintain a lubricating film. The solid lubricants blended into the grease, such as graphite and MoS₂, fill the valleys of the base metal and provide lubrication under boundary and mixed lubrication regimes

The lubricant is doing what greases were never designed
to do.
    Application 02 · Open gears

Mill pinion lubrication most mills get wrong

Mill pinions are lubricated with black asphaltic oils such as Servocoat 20, which generate hazardous waste and are laborious to handle due to disposal challenges. The oil is washed away by water from the pinion tray, leaving the pinion teeth inadequately lubricated.

    Application 03 · Food-adjacent contact

H1-Certified Lubrication for Severe-Load Mill Journal Bearings

Severe mill journal bearing loads demand more than conventional lubrication. When food safety and environmental considerations rule out toxic lubricants, Viscopren NTX provides the answer. Its ultra-high viscosity of approximately 4,000 cSt at 100°C helps maintain a robust lubricating film under extreme operating conditions while reducing lubricant consumption to about 1 kg per mill per day. Heavy-load performance. Lower consumption. Cleaner operation.

LAAPSA is compatible with line pressures from 190 to 260 kg/cm². Most CLS systems in Indian sugar mills were sized for grease – not gel. Lubeman is the only Indian distributor with 40 years of Cenlub Systems CLS engineering to audit, redesign and retrofit at zero capex during trial.
